Influences of Physical Parameters of a Solar Concentrator Cooker

This work focuses on the modelling and simulation of a solar concentrator cooker. The equations governing heat transfers cooker are discretised by an implicit finite difference method solved via Gaussian algorithm, coupled with iterative procedure.
 FORTRAN numerical code that simulates operation cooker, using meteorological data from city Bangui, was developed. In this simulation, influence physical parameters as well different components is analysed, notably: nature materials used, dimensions results show flux 900W/m² allows determination optimal cooker.
 parallelepipedic [60 cm*50 cm], made it possible to obtain thermal efficiency varying 42% 45%. these shows copper good conductor conductivity higher thinner wall thickness (3 mm) pot.
